Chapter 01

Overview

Full-text search across all 37 tractates of the Talmud (Vilna edition, ~1.86M words) with a configurable words-of-context window before and after each match, expandable to the full surrounding paragraph. Every result carries an exact citation — tractate, daf, amud — and a direct link to that page on Sefaria. Same architecture as its sister project, Ot va-Ot: one FastAPI service, corpus bundled locally, no network dependency at runtime.
